The GROUPEMENT FRANÇAIS DE COORDINATION is a national non-profit organization that was formed in 1963 at the initiative of the IFP (French Petroleum Institute), which has since become IFPEN. It was agreed to create a group aimed at developing and developing test procedures necessary for oil tankers, engine manufacturers and users, in complementarity with other European bodies, to meet in particular the specific needs of French manufacturers and manufacturers. all their marks.
The purpose of the GFC is to provide a forum for technical exchanges between experts from member companies in the field of performance of fuels, lubricants and other fluids used in transport, including lubricating greases and coolants that are no longer used. by other bodies, and to develop methods for evaluating the performance of these products. This GFC mission is based on the needs expressed by its members at national and European level.
